Planting for Bees

If you keep bees, you will understand the need to have suitable food sources from the moment the bees leave the hive in the spring. Following some work with a customer who was creating a new fruit orchard and bee-friendly hedge project for ex-offenders' retraining, we produced [this table] of flowering periods for a wide range of plants that are attractive to bees. Plant a hedge with all of these in it and you'll have the happiest bees in the Parish.
