Click here to view a drone view of the route into Weasdale Nurseries

Directions from M6 Junction 38:

Straight across roundabout at end of slip road onto A685 (Kirkby Stephen / Brough / Scotch Corner) for 5.5 miles.  Turn right "Weasdale 1 1/2 miles" - just before traffic island & Newbiggin on Lune village - onto single track road.  Go to the very end through 3 junctions:  tee (right)  fork (keep left) tee in farm yard (right).  Weasdale Nurseries finger post at each junction.

Directions from A66 westbound:

Take A685 "Kendal" off A66 at Brough.  Follow through Kirkby Stephen and beyond.  Stay on A685 ignoring fork to Sedbergh & M6 with the A683.  Approaching & passing Newbiggin on Lune, ignore 3 roads into the village on LHS and take the 4th to Weasdale, immediately after the 2nd traffic island (1st one has been part-demolished and may or may not be visible!) onto single track road.  Go to the very end through 3 junctions:  tee (right)  fork (keep left) tee in farm yard (right).  Weasdale Nurseries finger post at each junction.

Directions from Leeds / Skipton:

A65 to Kirkby Lonsdale.  On approach to Kirkby, take right turn A683 Kirkby Stephen & Sedbergh at Devil’s Bridge.  (Good cup of tea at the caravan there and usually scores of motorbikes to be dazzled by).  Go through Sedbergh and stay on A683 for 7 miles or so to “The Fat Lamb” pub, which is on a sharp right-hand bend at the end of a long straight section crossing open common-land (be forewarned about wandering sheep / cattle / ponies.).

Indicate left approaching the pub and take small road down far side of pub, signposted “Ravenstonedale”.  Go through village, past school and church and turn left at junction and follow road out of village.  At junction with main road (A685) turn left towards Kendal.
